SAGE Women of HRC

In His Word, God reminds us that as we age we are valued in His Eyes and continue to be vital to the work in His Kingdom.  The Book of Psalms teaches us that we will "flourish in the courts of the Lord"; "still bear fruit in old age and declare His Mighty Acts to the next generation." Titus 2 inspires us to do good for the sake of the Gospel by living reverently and teach what is good to our younger women so that "no one will malign the Word of God."

SAGE (Seeking After God Everyday or Serving Aging Growing Evangelizing) is a vibrant group of spiritually inspired mature women who seek to address the needs of other mature women in the areas of spiritual growth, maturity and wellness through fellowship, discipleship, prayer and service.

What began as a small daytime Bible study, has blossomed in one year to a group of more than 25 women, (ranging in age from the mid-50's to 86) who are excited to grow and serve in a variety of ways.   God has multiplied this ministry mainly due to the love that is shared among the group and with others.  They are great examples of John 13:34,35 - "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.  By this everyone will know that you are My Disciples, if you love one another."

SAGE meets monthly to study, teach and discuss God's Word; share their faith; and celebrate milestones, including spiritual birthdays.  SAGE members also practice hospitality; visit the sick and infirmed; and foster relationships with young moms and women. As we continue to grow, we pray that God will continue to use and guide us in HIS Service for HIS Glory.

SAGE is largely supported by the Lydia Leadership Group, an amazing and impactful assembly of women serving the ministry through purposeful outreach, mentorship, hospitality and communion service.
