Welcome to the Hampton Roads Church Greater Chesapeake Region Facebook page! Spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ in Chesapeake, Portsmouth, and Suffolk Virginia. Here’s what you need to know about our fellowship, our leaders, our general (bigger group) gatherings, and our small group gatherings:

Fellowship

We’re not just a diverse fellowship; we’re an intimate and diverse fellowship. We know each other. We love each other. We keep trying to do better, but there’s no doubt that this church has been gathered by the Holy Spirit to serve Jesus with a deliberate devotion to discipleship and to one another.

Leadership

Ministers: Tony and leslie millet

Tony and Leslie have served our Greater Chesapeake Ministry since 2005 with the exception of a 5 year missionary stay in Trinidad & Tobago. Married in 1999, they have recently sent their two wonderful children, Brooke and Anthony, off to college. They are excited to begin the next phase of their lives empty nesting with their fiery Caribbean dog, Misty-Grace!

Tony & Leslie were both baptized into Christ in Cincinnati, Ohio - Tony in 1995, and Leslie in 1996. Tony was single working as an engineer at General Electric managing an aircraft engine parts manufacturing operation. Leslie was converted in an arts ministry while studying Musical Theatre at the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music.

God called both of them to leave their careers behind and go into the full time vocational ministry together in 1998. They were overjoyed, and even though they didn't know each other well, opposites do attract! The Lord knew what he was doing because they fell in love and were married 11 months later.

It has been a full and fun life so far and they are looking forward to what God has planned for the future!

In her spare time you can catch Leslie doing a variety of things.. either something creative, walking on the beach, or watching "The Office". Tony spends his free time doing bike tricks.
