We will be serving at the Four Oaks Day center located at 7401 Warwick Blvd, Newport News, VA 23607 every 1st Saturday of the month starting 5/3/25 @ 11am. Please arrive at the facility no later than 10:45 am.

Volunteers are always welcome, especially those with education backgrounds. Your expertise is greatly desired, but training will be provided. Each region has a children’s ministry coordinator with details on current needs. Please email with your region to connect with the correct region. *Must be an active HRC church member to serve.

The Anchor Academy seeks to "equip the saints for works of ministry" (Ephesians 4:12) through deliberate Bible study and discipleship.
Our courses and resources are available for everyone. -
We are looking for volunteers who are tech savvy and not afraid to learn something new! This includes social media, web design, graphic design, SEO, videographer, editor/producer. Experience isn’t necessary, training available. Open to all members.

All are welcome to join and serve on the Ushers team! Each region has a team to assist with greeting, preparing communion, passing trays for contribution and more. Great way to practice hospitality, meet the fellowship and make visitors feel at home.
